Utilizing Metadata
Metadata makes it easier to keep your projects and data organized. All objects that are uploaded or created will have associated metadata with fields such as Name, ID, Path, Status, Class, File Size, Created by, Created, and Modified. You can view the metadata column by selecting the object:

Custom Metadata
Objects on UKB RAP, such as applications and files, can have names, descriptions, properties, and tags. While some metadata is pre-set and cannot be changed, you can set values for the following metadata fields:
Name: An arbitrary UTF-8 string (non-printable characters such as whitespace tabs and newlines are not allowed). Objects can be renamed by hovering and selecting the “pen” icon

Properties: Properties are custom string key/value pairs that can be attached to a copy of any object and can be used to create new metadata columns. Properties can be added by selecting an object, then the “Add properties…” option in the far right column, after which a key/value input box will appear.

Tags: Strings of nonzero length that can be associated with objects in order to help with organization and annotation. Tags can be added by selecting an object and then the “Tags” input box.

Organization
You can sort and organize data based on pre-established and custom metadata by selecting the “column” icon in the top right. Columns can also be sorted by hovering over the title.
This what we see if we filter our columns with only “Tags” and custom “Properties”:
